Cambridge's Varsity Magazine Interview

I was recently contacted by one of Varsity magazine's interviewing volunteers and asked if I'd be interested in doing an interview for the magazine. This volunteer's name is Yanyi Lee, she lives in Taiwan, but had been in Newnham College while studying at Cambridge. We'd initially become friends on Facebook and had then begun interacting/responding to one another's posts. I explained I'd previously been interviewed by Varsity shortly after finishing my Cambridge Master's back in 2018 but Yanyi said this interview would be more in-depth.

"Okay," I agreed, "let's do it."

Yanyi put me in touch with my interviewer, Olivia Millard, and we organised a Zoom interview with two of us here in the UK and Yanyi in Taiwan at some ridiculous hour of the morning. There was far too much material to cram within Varsity's word count but, after much time editing, the interview Olivia published blew me away...
